June 3 Creepy Crawlers
Thursday 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
(Ages 3 - 6) June is a great month to enjoy the outdoors. Warm weather and long days coax us outside, but then bugs drive us back inside. Annoying critters like mosquitoes, ticks, and chiggers might make summer
a little less enjoyable, but they can still be pretty interesting. Come to Powder Valley to learn more about Missouri’s insects and arachnids.
We will examine different types of “bugs” and some of the ways that they can benefit
humans. Our class will conclude with an outside bug study where students will be
encouraged to catch as many “creepy crawlers” as possible! (Reservations begin May 20.)
